I recently went to Tomb with my family. It is a sort of immersive adenture puzzle experience. It wasn’t all that bad. The puzzles weren’t always hard or novel (at one point, we had to solve the Tower of Hanoi problem), but the atmosphere was very good.
The idea is that a group of customers (about 15 to 20) go through these various rooms, solving various puzzles that the pharoah has set before you ere he lets you out alive. Everyone solves the puzzles together, often requiring participation.
I particularly was interested to watch our guide lead us through it. He kept a very appropriate balance between driving the game and poking fun at lame parts. I believe at least some of the fun-poking was scripted, which is kinda neat that they would plan to not take themselves too seriously.
Anyway, I’d recommend it if for a family with kids, as it definitely is geared towards that age group, but I had fun too.

Wow, that sounds awesome. Where is it? And would a group of friends like to go sometime? Or do you think it would be too below our puzzle level? If it’s geared toward families, maybe it’s not as hardcore as I would like. Also, since you’ve done it before, maybe you wouldn’t get anything out of going a second time.
Yeah, it may not be hardcore enough for us. And it wouldn’t hold much for me now.
