Where oh where are the fireflies? I thought it would be fun to go see if I could catch some the other night, so I went down to the Boston Commons. No dice. Not a single flash of an insect’s bum.
Talking to some other people, it seems that yes, fireflies have been spotted in cities, but that no one I personally know has seen one in many a year.
Bummer.
