Dave and I went down to Boston Common today to give away some balloons. It was fun.
Reception was notably different from giving away pencils. The adults were still suspicious, but the kids weren’t. They just wanted a balloon. We did have some grown-ups take balloons of course, but it was mostly kids.
Red went the fastest, followed maybe by pink. Ladies loved the pink. Nobody wanted yellow, but that may have been because I had drawn distinctly sad faces on them. That was early on, before I understood that everyone wanted happy balloons.
We gave away about 40 balloons in about two hours. So a balloon every three minutes. Not bad.

You guys are the best. More power to ya!
